* I've picked up many skills throughout my history of work and I'm always looking forward to picking up many more! I've been working with the public, assisting customers with their questions, food preparations, cooking, Cleaning, stocking,ordering supplies,working as shift manager. On vessels I've worked as a shift leader maintaining safety among my co workers. Keeping vessel in stock with safety supplies,cleaning products, and work tools. I was in charge of cleaning,laying rigging, tightning wires,catching lines, tieing off the boat or vessel, helping the chief engineer and splicing lines or cords.As a lab tech for Chemtrusion I've learned about the many different pigment and mfr materials for keeping finished goods material to meet and exceed customer specifications.Also I've been picking up extra skills by helping the lab supervisior work on plastometers and ash ovens. I'm able to set up and replace basic parts of either machine when needed or if need be to take them out of service if the problem is major! Ive been proficient with using the lab computers which have programs like excel and Icolor for looking up info on certain color masters, mfr material specs. I can make color and qc paperwork for upcoming jobs, and I chart data on running lines to show the managment of there mfr and ash specs. I've trained several new lab employees and have enjoyed working with them demonstrating and insuring that they know and maintain all safety and quality standards and procedures by providing job specific training to insure employee certification.

Insures that the properties and color of material the company produces meets and exceeds customers specifications, and is noted, retained and properly logged for future reference. I was responsible for retrieving samples to test by using forklift to grab 1500lb octagon boxes from stacked finished goods or 50lb developmental boxes or from classifiers at the ends of the lines then perform Mfr, Ash, Pellet Weight and Density tests. If any test was close to failing or did fail adjustments where made to the formulation to correct the problem. I had to work closely with the line operators in case I had to have them shut the line down and start back up when issues were resolved and three supervisors had to be kept up to date if there was a problem to report and explain how I was to fix the issue.

Work has always been a part of my life, I started young and have continued since then. The first job I did to make money was mowing yards. I borrowed my father's mower and gave him compensation for using it. When I lived with my uncle for a year, during my teens, I helped him with his drywall business. I also did farm work for a couple years between Food Court and working for Gofers Inc. This work included bailing hay, stripping and planting tobacco. I have a passion for work and enjoy growing as a worker and benefiting my employer.
