These people did something serious which resulted in their being committed by the court system. They had serious psychiatric diagnoses requiring long-term care. I brought a sense of caring and compassion to what could be a very tense setting. The job also involves teamwork; the ability to work with clients as well as doctors, administrators and other staff members is an essential part of this position.
