Opened a neighborhood coffee bar and art gallery. Designed and constructed business from shell building space. Designed all aspects of buisness from pricing coffee, creating menu items, developing art programs that brought in artists (independant contractors) who rented space to give lessons to children and adults. Hired and trained employees to run coffee bar. Organized and set up monthly art shows for local artists and students. Organized community events such as Open Mic night, Fall Craft Show, Live Artist Demonstrations.

Took over family business after selling Art from the Heart. Organized all aspects of entertainment and event planning for national corporations during conventions in Las Vegas. Made VIP (best seats/location) show, restaurant, tour, ground transportation, hotel room, special event arrangements and reservations for executive entertaining. Provided services to clients that were not available to the general public. Facilitated all aspects of corporate travel to Las Vegas Conventions from the point of arrival to point of departure. Provided many of these services in other cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans, Atlanta, Florida, and New York. Provided corporations with trade show talent to assist handing out promotional material to convention attendees. Assisted client with choosing, booking, communicating requirements and paying talent. Booked all types of talent for hire such as models, actors, magicians, musicians, look-a-likes, and unusual acts. Facilitated corportate board meetings, seminars/meetings and large events from start to finish nationally. Operated with a staff of 4: receptionist, accounts receivable/payable and 2 account executives.

Reason I Want To Return To Event Planning

I moved to the Central Coast in 2003. I sold HMI - Holiday Models, Inc. & Holiday Convention Services Group in 2007. I enjoy being able to create a business built around my artistic skills which has always been my dream, but I miss the feeling of accomplishment and excitement of putting together a flawless event. I am interested in a part time assistant, consultant or facilitator position and I am willing to travel if needed.
