Contracted to frame many projects, from small additions and renovations, to large custom homes. Some dock work. Many varied jobs.

Contracted to frame many homes in this area. Did a small strip mall, and did many different types of residential construction, such as monolithic slabs, tie beams, and all the tie downs required for Florida's hurricane bylaws.

Did some small shops in malls,
Contracted and framed the first TGIF restaurant in downtown Vancouver.
Framed a small apartment building (16 units).
Framed some townhouses.
Framed an architectural designed dentist office around 16th and Dunbar, and of course many homes.

Learned my trade from two journeyman carpenters. One from England and the other, a perfectionist German.
They taught me well.

Didn't like being away, and it wasn't for me.
Started my working career after graduation in a management training program in banking for the CIBC in Vancouver for one year in 1976.
