  • As a Big-Box Retail Account Manager, I was assigned to a 9-store local district of Wal-Mart Supercenter Groceries. Dean Foods is a very large dairy company with MANY products that Wal-Mart carries. My job was to constantly meet with and consult with Wal-Mart Store Management in which products were carried by the said store, how much of the product and what products would be carried in the future. Was responsible for ALL orders of these products. Each store was monitored daily with adjustments made as needed. Greatly improved Deans local relationship with these stores and this translated in greatly increased feature space, sales and more Dean products in local stores. I also managed our local team of stockers which were maintained by Dean Foods and provided to service the local Wal-Mart stores. I was put into this position in some regards due to my knowledge of Wal-Mart from my years as a WM Store Director- Tire and Lube division.

  • Multi-Unit Store Manager. Put into Store Manager position in very under performing store after completing Training Program in less than 3 weeks. Quickly, turned this operatin into a high-profit unit. Then, given another nearby high-risk store, which also was quickly turned around. I was the only Multi-Unit Store Manager in the local Region and assisted the District Manager in special projects.
