Job Description:

• Scientific Technologies Corporation is looking for a seasoned executive manager who is seeking a challenging and rewarding environment creating and supporting state of the art IT systems for public health. The individual would report directly to the Chief Operating Officer, and therefore must be able to demonstrate proven leadership experience while having the ability to innovate, formulate creative strategies, and bring them to life. An ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for his/her work.

• Job Functions:
• • Oversees and implements product development policies, objectives, and initiatives.
• • Leads research for new products, product enhancements, and product redesign.
• • Evaluates the potential and practicality of products in development.
• • Analyze market to ensure competitiveness of current and future STC products.
• • Communicate with clients, members of senior management, and highly technical internal staff members.

Education Requirements:

• • Advanced engineering and/or business degrees required.

Experience Requirements:

• • Must have product / application development experience, with a strong senior level management background.
• • Must possess extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• • Advanced senior technical knowledge of cutting edge technologies such as web services, cloud computing, agile development, decision support and GIS.
• • Highly developed leadership and personnel management skills.
• • Ability to contribute to STC’s financial and organizational strategies.
• • Superior communication and interpersonal skills a must.
• • Must be a United States citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
